Websites and platforms : Sites that make the next step obvious.

We design websites around what your visitors are looking for and what your business needs: from structure and content to build and ongoing improvement.

For whom
For businesses whose website doesn’t explain what they offer or doesn’t lead people to get in touch.
What the work can include
Structure, content, design and build, plus ongoing improvements – depending on what you need.
Stages
Diagnosis → Plan → Implementation → Measurement → Next iteration

When this helps

Signs your website isn’t doing its job

  • People visit the site, but they don’t email or call.

  • We struggle to explain what we do in a sentence or two – and the website doesn’t manage it either.

  • The site was built a few years ago and hasn’t kept up with what we offer today.

Scope

What the work can include

Depending on your goal and the state of your current site, the work may include:

User needs analysis
A review of your current site, your analytics data and the questions customers ask before they get in touch.
Information architecture
A map of pages and user paths: what visitors need to find, in what order and what the next step is.
Content
Copy that explains your offer in plain language and answers customers’ questions. AI helps with variants; a person leads the editing.
Design
Page layouts and an interface designed for readability, accessibility and ease of use on mobile.
Build and integrations
Building the site or making changes to the existing one, plus any integrations it needs. The technology and approach are set out in the project scope.
Measurement and improvement
Tracking key user actions and making further improvements based on the data.

Note: The exact scope is agreed after the diagnosis. Building on a particular technology or a platform of your choice, hosting, ongoing technical support after launch and photo shoots aren’t included by default. If you need them, we’ll discuss them separately.

Stages

How we work on your website

  1. Diagnosis

We look at who visits the site, what they’re looking for and where they give up. We agree the main goal: enquiries, sales, recruitment or information.

  2. Plan

We prepare the structure, the key user paths and the scope of work: what we build from scratch and what we improve on the current site.

  3. Implementation

Content, design and build happen in stages, and you sign off progress at agreed checkpoints.

  4. Measurement

After launch, we check whether users complete the key actions and whether the site works properly from a technical point of view.

  5. Next iteration

We fix the points where users drop off and plan the next changes.

Outcomes

What you get and how we track progress

Possible deliverables

  • findings from the diagnosis of your current site
  • a sitemap and a description of the key user paths
  • content and page designs
  • a live website, or changes made to your existing one
  • tracking set up for key actions
  • a list of further improvements

Measures we use

  • users completing key tasks, such as submitting a form
  • conversion rate on the most important pages
  • technical quality: load time, accessibility and how well the site works on mobile

Measures are set for each site and its purpose. We don’t promise a rise in conversions up front – we measure the starting point and compare the effect of each change against it.

Questions

Questions about websites and platforms

Can you improve an existing site instead of rebuilding it?

Yes – a rebuild isn’t always necessary. Sometimes sorting out the content, user paths and forms on your current site achieves more. How much technical work is involved depends on what the site is built on, so we agree that after the diagnosis.

What technology do you build websites on?

We choose the technology based on your goal, your budget and who will manage the site afterwards. What matters to us is site speed, accessibility and easy content editing. We propose a specific solution after the diagnosis and set it out in the project scope.

Who looks after the site after launch?

We agree that before we start. You can take the site over or talk to us about further development. How easily you can edit it yourself depends on the technology chosen. Ongoing technical support isn’t included in the project by default.

Let’s start with what your website needs to achieve

Share your website address and briefly describe what isn’t working. We’ll suggest where to begin: with fixes or with a new structure.
