Paid campaigns : Paid campaigns built to learn and improve.
We run paid campaigns from setting up tracking to the next round of tests. Decisions about budget and messaging are based on your business goals and test results.
- For whom
- For businesses spending on ads without knowing how many qualified enquiries they get in return.
- What the work can include
- Goals and measurement, campaign planning and optimisation, and testing creative and landing pages.
- Stages
- Diagnosis → Plan → Implementation → Measurement → Next iteration
When this helps
Signs your campaigns need measurement and testing
-
We keep spending more on ads, but we don’t know how many qualified enquiries we’re getting for it.
-
The report shows clicks and reach, but not whether any of it turns into sales.
-
The campaigns and the landing page live separate lives – everyone only fixes their own part.
Scope
What the work can include
Depending on your goal, your channels and the state of your tracking, the work may include:
- Goals and measurement
- We define what counts as a valuable conversion and check that the events on your site are tracked correctly.
- Channel selection
- We choose ad platforms to suit your goal, audience, budget and available data, and propose a specific mix after the diagnosis.
- Campaign structure and launch
- Setting up campaigns, audiences and budgets in line with the test plan.
- Creative and messaging
- Message and creative variants for testing. AI helps prepare versions; a person chooses and approves them.
- Landing page testing
- We check whether the page your traffic lands on delivers on the promise made in the ad, and suggest changes.
- Optimisation and reporting
- Based on the results, we adjust campaign settings and shift budget within limits agreed with you, then explain what we’ve learned in plain language.
Note: The exact scope is agreed after the diagnosis. By default, it doesn’t cover ad spend (the fees paid to the platforms – how that’s billed is discussed separately), photo and video production or changes to your website’s code.
Stages
How we run campaigns
-
Diagnosis
We review your ad accounts, conversion tracking, landing pages and past results. We agree what a qualified enquiry means for your business.
-
Plan
We choose the channels, campaign goals and budget split, and draw up a list of hypotheses to test.
-
Implementation
We launch the campaigns and the first creative and landing page tests.
-
Measurement
We track the cost and quality of enquiries against the definition agreed at the start.
-
Next iteration
We build on what works, switch off what doesn’t and plan the next round of tests.
Outcomes
What you get and how we track progress
Possible deliverables
- a campaign plan with goals and hypotheses to test
- conversion tracking that has been checked or put in order
- campaigns set up according to the plan
- creative and message variants for testing
- recommended changes to landing pages
- a regular report with conclusions and next steps
Measures we use
- the number of qualified enquiries, based on a shared definition
- cost per lead or per acquisition (CPL, CPA), calculated the way we agree at the start
- landing page conversion rate
We don’t guarantee a specific cost per acquisition or return on ad spend (ROAS). Results depend on your market, offer, budget and website, so we agree the measures and the baseline together before we start.
Questions
Questions about paid campaigns
How do you measure lead quality beyond clicks?
At the start, we agree with you what a qualified enquiry looks like – for example, a company in the right industry with a real need and a budget. Then we work out how to flag those enquiries: in your CRM, in a spreadsheet or through simple feedback from your sales team. Without that feedback, all you can see is the number of form submissions, and we’ll be open with you about that.
Which platforms do you run campaigns on?
We match platforms to your goal, audience, budget and available data. That may mean search ads, social media ads or other channels, if they suit your offer. We don’t assume your business has to be everywhere – we suggest a specific mix after the diagnosis.
Is the ad budget part of the work?
Ad spend – the fees charged by the platforms – is a separate item from the work on your campaigns. We suggest an amount after the diagnosis, based on your goal and market, and the decision is yours. How it’s billed is agreed before we start.
